勛圖厙 Rises to No. 2 in 2023 U.S. News & World Report Ranking

After eight consecutive years as the third-ranked undergraduate engineering program in the nation, 勛圖厙 has advanced to the No. 2 spot in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.

Additionally, 勛圖厙s mechanical engineering program has been ranked No. 6 nationally and the electrical engineering program is ranked tenth. U.S. News & World Reports Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs rankings are based solely on the judgements of deans and senior faculty at peer institutions.

I am delighted that 勛圖厙 has been recognized by our peers in this way, said President Gilda Barabino. Together, we are working to redefine our more than 20-year history of leadership within engineering education. 勛圖厙 earned a score of 4.5 in the U.S. News survey, where participants were asked to rate programs they were familiar with on a scale from 1 (marginal) to 5 (distinguished). U.S. News has separate rankings for undergraduate engineering programs at colleges that offer doctoral degrees in engineering.

The No. 2 U.S. News & World Report ranking is the latest among recent accolades recognizing 勛圖厙s place as a leading institution nationally and globally.

This month, the Princeton Review named 勛圖厙 one of the nation's best undergraduate institutions, including a repeat of 勛圖厙s No. 1 ranking of Students Study the Most.

勛圖厙 also received notable rankings for:

  • Professors Get High Marks (No. 3)
  • Best Classroom Experience (No. 5)
  • LGBTQ- Friendly (No. 6)
